WHAT IS THERAPY?

HOW DO I FIND THE RIGHT THERAPIST?

Even a good therapist might not be the right fit for you. I offer a complimentary 20-minute phone consultation if you have questions that might help you in your search. The trust and rapport you have with your therapist will be vital in helping you reach the change you desire. You are the best one to determine that fit. Sometimes it takes meeting several people to find the right therapist for you. If I am not the right fit for you, I would love to aid in your search and am happy to provide references for other therapists or services

WHAT WILL MY FIRST APPOINTMENT BE LIKE?

After the free-20 minute phone consultation and we’ve decided to work together, I will send you a link to new client paperwork. Once you’ve filled out the online forms and they have been submitted, you will be sent a link to the calendar to sign up for an appointment. The appointments will be either 50-minutes (typical for individuals) or 80-minutes (typical for couples or families).

On the day of the appointment I will meet you in the waiting room. We will go to my office (full of plants, big windows and views of the hills) and have our first session. We will discuss what brings you into therapy, along with your goals for therapy. We will also go over your new client paperwork and I will answer any further questions you have. At the start of the first session, your credit card will automatically be charged for the appointment. You can sign up for your next appointment…..
